I recently joined the faculty of the School of Psychology at the University of Aberdeen as a Lecturer. I work on the neural processes underlying various aspects of visual perception, such as attention, short-term memory, and object recognition. I utilize a combination of psychophysics, EEG and computational techniques to address these questions. My ultimate goal in research is to understand how and why we are conscious.
